Deep down their lies,
A fear,
A fear of the unknown,
A fear of the unpredictable…
A fear,
A fear of losing a dear one...
A fear,
A fear of not living up to the expectations,
of the loved ones…
A fear,
A fear of confessing…
A fear,
A fear of getting misjudged…
A fear,
A fear of losing a relationship,
to a misunderstanding…
A fear,
A fear of taking a bold decision…
And as the life goes on,
all these anxieties keep piling on,
And then there, stems up a few moments,
Moments when all we want to do,
is to just cry it all out,
 all alone…
without any contemplations or apprehensions
just cry it all out,
and let all the pain and fear
go off with the tears…

Stereotyped

Don’t let the stereotypes typecast you Into a little girl , Who can play only with dolls and not toy-cars… Who can’t play cricket, Just because they say it’s a boy’s game… Into a young teenage girl, Who drops out of school sports team, And joins dance classes instead, Because it’s graceful enough… Into an adolescent girl, Who is stalked over and over, Until she gives in to be in a relationship, Because that’s how the popular movies define persuasion… Into a corporate lady, Who fears to be aggressive for all the right reasons, As she might be judged as "too bossy" for all the wrong ones… Into a girl turning to a marriageable age, And is supposed to leave her job, Because that’s how she is supposed to be, A care giver and not a bread earner… No supernatural power will come for our rescue, The supernatural is all within, Recognizing that supernatural is the super power… Don’t let the stereotypes typecast you, Just be t...
