As the
weather transitions from the tranquil dawn, to the diurnal soaring hot, to the cool
Windy dusk, the city also evolves along, from the gust of crowd rushing into
the local or hitting the traffic madly, to a diligent work force toiling in the
clammy afternoon, to the bunch of lively people strolling around the Marine
drive with the soothing breeze from the sea taking away with it their whole
day’s stress.
It serves
all, with a tangy cocktail of recreation, pleasing every mood of life; from "the Scenic Sunrise at Juhu Beech to the Sunset at Bandstand”; from “the highbrow Theater to highly nocturnal Night Clubs”. Life wears an exclusive Parade here.
Mumbai is
actually the city portraying different colors of life. It allows one to embrace
one’s own style of living, unquestioned, unlabeled and unbound.
The Film
City, aptly describes herself in her own words “Zara Hatake Zara Bachke Ye Hai
Bumbai Meri Jaan”

Well described..:)

ReplyDeleteNice article. I had the nostalgia of Mumbai while reading this. The best thing I like about this city is the understanding that is prevalent amongst the common man. Be it travelling by local train or moving midst the crowded market at Matunga, you always feel at home.
ReplyDeleteBut again, you seldom realise the importance of the place while you are there :)
I can see another article in the pipeline on Delhi.
