Some moments naively 
come alive… 
Dancing in the midnight 
birthday parties… 
struggling to have a single sip of 
Cold drink… 
Lying at the terrace 
and gossiping till dawn… 
And then getting amazed 
by sensing the dazing sun rays 
on our faces…

Tediously sitting in the class room 
and commenting on every gesture 
of teachers… 
And then leaving the class happily 
after being caught and scolded… 
Bunking the classes and 
Parking ourselves in the canteen… 
Staring at and searching for 
Some fresh faces… 
Peering into the stillness of night 
Some moments naively 
come alive… 
Sitting at the stairs the department 
Conferring about some project 
and getting distracted… 
when a cool chic passed by… 
Chit chatting about each others 
Crushes in the hostel rooms 
And the nonstop bitching sessions… 
Peering into the stillness of night… 
Some moments naively 
come alive… 
Roving around in the streets of G.T. 
and commenting on some 
Bizarre dressing styles… 
Ten people sharing one pizza and 
a scoop of ice cream… 
Peering into the stillness of night 
Some moments naively 
come alive… 
Sometimes leaving back a naughty 
Smile… 
While some times leaving back tears 
in our eyes…

Melting Moments As this semester is passing away, I am actually a bit anxious about the life coming ahead and at the same time am a bit sad about the one am going to leave behind. Winding up has always been difficult for me, but this time it is going to be heart racking. This place has actually made me what I really am today . Met new people, who have now started defining my being, their presence actually define my fun, and their absence make me feel miserable at times. गर्मियों की छुट्टियाँ

दो महीने की लम्बी छुट्टियाँ , दादी और नानी के घर पर बिताती ... रात को दादी की राजा- रानी की कहानियों में , खुद को  राजकुमारी मान कर ,  अपने ही सपनों में खो कर, सो  जाती ...    सुबह उठ कर, नानी के संग पूजा की थाली , फूलों से  सजाती और  उन के भजनों, के दो-चार शब्द  जो समझ आते, उन के साथ गुन-गुना कर बड़ी  खुश  हो जती ...  दादा के संग बजार घुमने जाती, और पड़ोस के चाचा की दुकान  पर   बैठे, लोगो को,  राम- राम साहब कह के,  उन से चार  टॉफ़ी पा कर , अपनी फ्हराक की छोटी-छोटी जेबॆए भर  लाती  ... दोपहर को नाना के संग ताश खेलती,  और कागज के गुलाम- बादशाहों  की  अनोखी दुनिया में खो कर, नाना की गोदी के तकिये पर,  सर रख कर सो जाती ... शाम को चाचा- चाची और मामा-मामी,  वाले दीदी-भईया के संग  लुक्का-छुप्पी  खेलती, और सब को भाग- भाग कर पकड़ लेती ... आज भ...
